Amazon Halo
At Halo, Amazon’s wearable fitness and health tracker, I worked with a team of designers to create and implement clear brand guidelines for the Halo brand. I designed retail, social, and print ads, as well as emails, executive presentations, iconography, web design, and photo retouching.

Marketing Campaigns
Halo’s New year, new you campaign centered around what everyone does on January 1st: we set resolutions. Why not track those health, wellness, and fitness goals with the Halo Band and Halo View devices, as well as Halo Fitness classes on the Halo app.

Iconography
In collaboration between the brand design and UX teams, I was tasked to create multiple icons that would appear on the Halo app and wearable devices. The icons had to correspond with the established icon library, while also being clear and effective in its design.
Brief
Create a goals icon for the Halo app and brand to allow customers to set specific fitness, sleep and nutrition goals.
Competitive Audit
We looked at how Apple Fitness, Fitbit, and other competitors help their customers reach and set their goals. Are there celebration graphics and animations? Are the goals tracked on a daily, weekly, or on a monthly basis?
Where we landed
Ultimately, we landed on the flag icon. It’s versatile, a quick read, and has the right amount of celebratory elements to be universal for all goals.
